Dr. Diane Lazare, affectionately known as DocDi, is the Co-founder of The Light Center (TLC). Her anointed ministry of integrity, character and reliance on the Word of God has brought healing and restoration to her community and beyond.

With over 30 years of ministry experience, Dr. Diane has encountered numerous ministerial activities such as preaching, teaching, counseling, mentoring, facilitating seminars and hosting conferences. Her powerful preaching style has identified her as a serious-minded warrior for God. Dr. Diane’s earnest approach and contagious enthusiasm enables her to connect intimately with people from all educational, social and cultural backgrounds. Her passion is to empower individuals to discover their true identity and purpose.

Dr. Diane began The Spiritled Life specifically to empower women to discover their full potential; to encourage women to discover and embrace God's mission for their lives. Through Spiritled she has touched the lives of women in shelters and rehabilitation centers. Further, she has funded scholarships and partnered with the American Cancer Society through her “Pink Prayers” program to promote Breast Cancer Awareness. As an empowerment strategist, Dr. Diane constantly encourages people through her “Power Up” Leadership Training, Prophetic Encounters, and throughout the nation on her monthly “Power Experience” conference call.

Dr. Diane is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Florida A&M University.  From there, she matriculated through the Florida State University where she obtained an Advanced Masters Graduate Degree. In 2007, Pastor Diane furthered her education by obtaining a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. In conjunction to her secular educational accomplishments, Dr. Diane received her Doctorate in Ministry Degree from St. Thomas Christian College. Her strong educational background and aspiration for ministerial excellence prompted her to write and implement the Minister in Training (MIT) Program for novice ministers.

Dr. Diane has a special gifting in the area of Administration, which has blessed many ministries and organizations, including her home ministry. She is consecrated to the Office of the Prophet and is a Certified Life Coach. She is well noted for providing sound and wise counsel to both secular and ministry leaders in various capacities.  She is considered by her peers to be a Woman of God that is “beyond her years.” She is often asked, “How do you find the time to do it all?”

Dr. Diane has been happily married to Bishop Clark Lazare for over 34 years. Together they have two beautiful sons, Christopher and Jordan..
